If the bearing has quality problems, assembly problems, or poor lubrication, it will cause the bearing to heat up and the temperature will exceed the standard. General regulations stipulate that the operating temperature of rolling bearings cannot exceed 95 °C, and the operating temperature of sliding bearings is generally not allowed to exceed 80 °C. If the operating temperature of the bearing is normal, it can be determined that the bearing has no major problems in all aspects, and the sound of the bearing will be normal.
If the bearing has quality problems, assembly problems or poor lubrication, the sound of the bearing running will also be abnormal. If there is a “hissing” sound from the bearing chamber, it means that the bearing is out of oil; if it makes a “gurgling” or “crunching” sound, it means that the bearing has been damaged.
If the excessive vibration of the motor is caused by the bearing, according to the magnitude of the vibration, it can be judged that the bearing is damaged, the bearing running sleeve or the bearing clearance is too large.
I personally think that the most accurate criterion for judging the good running state of the bearing should be the normal temperature rise, and this “temperature rise” does not refer to the difference between the bearing and the ambient temperature in the usual sense, but to the difference between the bearing temperature and the motor temperature. difference. The reason for this is that if the motor is overloaded and the current is too large to generate heat, the temperature of the fuselage will exceed the standard. At this time, even the bearing temperature in good operating condition will exceed the standard, and this “temperature rise” is still normal.

The vibration of the motor is small, the temperature of the bearing is high, and a “hissing” sound is emitted from the bearing chamber, indicating that the bearing is seriously short of oil and must be replenished with grease as soon as possible.
Very poor operating condition
The motor vibrates greatly, the bearing temperature is too high, and there is a “gurgling” sound from the bearing chamber, indicating that the bearing has been seriously worn and must be replaced in time.
